Physiotherapy sessions

• Initial appointments take 45-60 minutes so that Jason can get an in depth understanding of your injury, provide a range of hands on treatments, and prescribe a detailed exercise program with videos via an app

• Follow-up appointments are 30-45 minutes

• Sessions are conducted in a private room

• Pilates reformer exercises are incorporated into sessions where clinically indicated

• Treatment modalities include massage, joint mobilisations and manipulations, and dry needling (western variation of acupuncture)

Exercise classes

​

• Small group exercise classes of 3 people are run in the rehab gym. These are designed for people with injuries or who are aiming to prevent injuries

• Exercises are tailored to your particular condition

• Pilates reformer exercises are included

• Private health rebates are available through most health funds

• Assessment of your running technique

• Sports taping

• Fitting of orthopaedic braces and boots

• Loan of crutches, wheelchair, walking frame

• Hydrotherapy sessions can be arranged at Springwood Aquatic Centre

• Home visits are available between Glenbrook and Katoomba

• Private health insurance claims can be made using our HICAPS terminal

• EFTPOS is available

• Medicare sessions are eligible for a $61.80 rebate from Medicare

• Workers compensation and motor vehicle accident claims are billed directly to your insurance company

• NDIS clients are also eligible to see Jason
